I’m currently working as a grant coordinator and am working on my doctoral degree. This is my 15th year in education.  I spent 13 years as a high school English teacher, 10 of those as a cheerleader coach (gulp).  My husband is an elementary school principal.

I live in Fort Worth, Texas, and work in Birdville ISD.  We have 32 campuses and 3 high schools:  two 4A and one 5A.
